Along with the BS6 Panigale V4, Ducati has also launched the Ducati Diavel BS6 1260 in India. The less polluting version of the Italian electric cruiser starts at 18.49 lakh INR*.
The Ducati Diavel in the BS6 avatar retains its sporty naked personality, design, and handling while being much more environmentally conscious. The standard variant is 5 kg heavier and weighs 249 kg (edge), while the Diavel 1260 S is 2 kg lighter than the regular model.

BS6 Ducati Diavel 1260 Launched – Heavier But More Powerful
Along with the practical value, the new Diavel 1260 also sees an increase in power. The 1262cc Ducati Testastretta DVT engine, which has time to change the camera, makes 3 horsepower more than its predecessor. It transmits 162 horsepower at 9,500 rpm and 129 Nm at 7,500 rpm. Equipped with a 6-speed gearbox that comes in two Quick Shifter versions as standard on the Diavel 1260 S.
For the Diavel 1260 BS6, Ducati kept the driving position and ergonomics of the “power cruiser” motorcycle but changed the chassis configuration. The Ducati Diavel BS6 has a striking steel frame. The Anchored is a vibrating aluminum arm-sized to deliver surprising agility in corners, a great “feel” and an effortless ride. The standard model comes equipped with a fully adjustable 50mm fork and a mono-shock at the rear with preload and adjustable shock absorbers. For comparison, the Diavel 1260 S comes with 48mm Ohlins forks up front and Ohlins shocks at the rear, both fully adjustable.
The Ducati Diavel is available for Rs 18.49 lakh * and is available in an all-black finish, while the BS6 Diavel 1260 S is available in two colors – Ducati Red and Thrilling Black – priced at 21.49 lakh *. Pre-orders are now open to all retailers and shipments will begin as soon as the current restrictions are lifted.
